I think I know why the two girls came out of the compulsion on Being Human. When Aiden compelled them, he only said that Henry (?) would be the best looking man they've ever seen and they would want to do anything he asks. He didn't compel them to do/think anything else (ex. not notice the blood on each other). The first girl snapped out of it when she saw the blood on her friend's face...
Just a thought. :)
