How bizarre that they turned Breaking Down into some pro-life/pro-choice debate. I have read it twice and never in my mind did I see the book or whatever trying to send out a message regarding that. I just thought it was for an exciting story line.

I read a feminist article criticizing the fact the Bella risked her life for the baby. But it's like Bella was going to die anyway. No matter what happened, she would die and become a vampire. Whether she decided to keep the baby or not, that what her fate.
